Hummingbirds at the Resort

  • Many Ruby Throated Hummingbirds are frequent and regular visitors to the Resort.

  • They arrive about March 1, and remain until
    the end of August.
Why are Hummingbirds Attracted to the Resort?

  • The Resort Grounds have been planted with trees, vines, perennials, and annuals selected to attract and provide natural nectar to the Hummingbirds.

  • Artificial Feeders are located throughout
    the Resort and provide an added food source
    for the Hummingbirds

  • Water Misters, which shoot a fine spray, or mist, into the air are located in the Garden.
    Hummingbirds are attracted and love to fly
    through the fine spray.
